We clip as needed(primaries only)to keep our cag as safely "grounded" as posible, although she always has some flying power. While clipping is needed after molt--for those whome clip--we do the "as neeedd" thin as not to clip her back too severely. latter, tika

Wings I presume? Wow.. If you want to keep your bird "grounded" then.. you need to do it ALOT more often then once or twice a year. If you want to ground them, trim them once or twice a MONTH, once a month will do fine.

dont be silly a birds wing will not grow back in a months time allowing it to get a lift at least 6-8 months i have found but some birds will fairy
