Mac at 7 months with us

For those of you that remember, I found a stray budgie late last August that we took in. Named her Macaroni. Here we are about 7 months later and yesterday, for the first time, she trusted me enough to stand on my hand...breakthrough? My wife caught a few quick pics. We will see how it goes in the next few weeks!

Yep i remember that too Mark, was she not in your yard/garden ? she sure is a cute little girl with that yellow & green,That breakthrough was a while coming but im sure worth the wait

Great pictures and she's a pretty little thing. I like the name too! I wonder what her story was and how she ended up in your yard? She must have gone to the right place if you have made such headway and now you can hold her.

Awww how sweet! I just read the old thred that judy posted the link to! I adopted one from petco that flew into a ladies open screen door, I was worried about mites and such too because she had a big crusty cere. But after much research figured out she was just a normal hen. We named her chicken. Im glad you found Macaroni and gave her a good home!
