It took almost 2 months but it sprouted! So happy! I had given up in it and just had the pot sitting outside and it was getting misted by the sprinklers. I thought it was a weed growing but my mom and google confirmed, I have a tree!

I once had the same story with a lemon seed I planted. It took months before showing something and eventually it lived for 2 years and died during the winter.

I have planted pineapple tops before and had a nice plant growing but they tend to have sharp spikes on the ends of the fronds that stick you if you get near but it never produced a fruit, it spread out so much I tossed it outside.

I have a walnut tree growing in my back yard which is about 3 feet tall. I doubt very much I will be around to see any nuts, oh well.
