Are you like dried food..? And Is it really a good idea to store freeze dried food for a long-term survival situation?

I give my three parrots freezed-dried foods all the time. They enjoy it and I know it will not spoil. In an emergency, I am will prepared for my flighted gang.

I use freeze dried vegies. Jake likes the peas and carrots. I get mine from Target.

Well, how do you like that? I had never considered freeze dried foods in bulk before. I keep beans, rice and pasta on hand with canned foods for emergencies and use frozen veggies for convenience, but these soup mixes and wild rice sound divine. I am going to peruse that web site and make an order, thanks so much for the idea for this thread and for the link and good advice.
