Insurance for Alfie

Hi, I have just picked up my little boy, Alfie. He is a 12 weeks old Afircan Grey Congo. I am looking to get pet insurance for him but wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to a good company in the UK.

 

I have all my other pets, (dog and horse) insured with Pet Plan but found out this morning when I called them that they don't cover parrots.

 

Any advice would be appreciated

call your Avian Veterinarians and ask them they should be your best source for that answer.

I have called them they have advised Exotic Direct as that is the only company that they no of.

when I called about it ... they said your baby had to be atleast 6mon old ... so definately ask alot of questions when you call them!

I have called them, quoted £20 per month for full cover, and he needs to be 12 weeks old as a minimum age.
