Parrot Lady Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I always have extra handfeeing formula lfte over after Brandi gets her nightly feeding and I have discovered Opey and Rocky just love it, I give them some not alot with a plastic spoon, just wondering if this would hurt them in any way or is it like giving extra calories? In that case Rocky doesn't need them lol but it sure won't hurt Opey
danmcq Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Some birds like a little formula their entire lives. It is perfectly fine to give them this.
judygram Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Like Dan said it is perfectly fine and it has another added benefit of keeping them used to getting foods by a spoon that may come in handy one day if one gets sick and has to be administered meds that way.
