CLB Posted October 31, 2012 Author Posted October 31, 2012 Thanks...this has proven to be the best place in the house! Until now, too cool to be outside. : ( BTW...no trouble with the height of the tree. Even Shadow, either comes down closer or willingly steps onto her stick!
BeeFernandez22 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 LOVEEEEE this idea. Will be picking up a Christmas stand this weekend!! As far as the height, I would think it's nothing a step stool couldn't take care of. As for my fid, all I would need to do is rattle the shredded cheese bag to get him down! hahaha
Timbersmom Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 LOL The cheese works with Timber every time! I don't use it often but it is good to have something that ALWAYS works.
JeffNOK Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 I think the tree looks great. The view out the window into the green area is gorgeous too!
kins2321@yahoo.com Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I know I'm the bad guy. I'm sticking to my guns. Too tall, birds should be equivalent to your height, and when they molt, you need to be taller. Nancy
BeeFernandez22 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I missed the part where anyone called anyone a bad guy... I actually just re-read the thread and the only thing that even was in response to that was a simple "I disagree that bigger is never better" which is someone's personal and valid opinion that they are entitled to, and it was from 4 months ago.. Why is this negativity being brought back up??? 1
kins2321@yahoo.com Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Sometimes when you express an opinion, you can get attacked. WOW! I am glad to express my opinion and appreciate it being accepted. Nancy
CLB Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 (edited) Nancy, like you always say...we all do what works for us. The height of this tree has never been a problem. My birds simply love it and it works for us. just wanted to add that we have a smaller version..maybe 6ft, in the family room and they LOVE that one too. Especially now that it's too cool to be outside. Edited November 13, 2012 by CLB
