chezron Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 We stuck branches from a fast-growing willow tree into a bucket of sand for a pseudo-tree. Brutus loves it! The branches move with his weight and he strips the leaves off while swaying. Fun!
KimKim Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Seems like fun for Brutus, I bet it makes a mess though??
chezron Posted November 14, 2010 Author Posted November 14, 2010 Big mess! I often clean up branchlets. BTW Babalu is a hysterical name! Perfect for a grey!
BirdsAreGrey8 Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 That thing is huge and is touching the ceiling! That looks like way too easy access for your bird to get to the chain on that lamp and to the electrical wire running through it. Bird bites wire, fried bird, sparks land onto dry leaves, fire in the kitchen! Not good! Cut the tree in half and he'll have just as much fun with none of the danger.
chezron Posted February 20, 2011 Author Posted February 20, 2011 BirdsAreGrey8, You have no way of knowing this, but the chandelier has no electricity running to it. We saw the potential for fired bird long ago and clipped the wires, so it is a sham light fixture. No danger.
Malikah Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Hahahaha I like the toys hanging off the chandelier too!
chezron Posted February 20, 2011 Author Posted February 20, 2011 Brutus has a great time over there, between the tree and the toys on the chandelier.
