JillyBeanz Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 I met a beautiful, big macaw at the weekend and was offered by the owner to give him a piece of fruit. We were very good friends (me and the bird) and he was coming over to me and making kissing noises (I wasn't getting too close to him - HOW BIG ARE THOSE BEAKS)!! Well, I sharp found out - I offered him the fruit, but he decided to take the pineapple AND MY FINGER!! I was so, so calm and didn't scream - but he took a nasty chunk out of my finger! So - from now on, anything bigger than a CAG and I'm not playing!!!!
judygram Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Poor Jill was suckered in by that big macaw, don't worry as you were not the first and certainly won't be the last, did you have a funeral for the missing chunk! I'm right there with ya Jill, I keep my distance from anything bigger than a grey.
