Grey baby scratches itself a lot? Is this normal or somekind of parasites?

HI all

 

Hope someone could help me figure out if my baby has parasites?

 

She scratches herself a lot, especially under the beak and on the neck. Is she just experiencing dry skin? Or could it be somekind of parasite? I can't seem to find much about the possible reasons for scratching that fits the way she does it?

They all do that scratching under the beak and neck as mine does it too. I highly doubt she has any parasites.

Judy - thank you, i was just wondering as it looks similar to the cat if it has got fleas But nice to know its just normal behavior

I live in colorado and we dont really have the parasites like some places do. i shower mojo 3-4 times a week, he has the same scratching that your bird experiences. the vet has checked him because i too was concerned. no worries! completely happy, healthy and normal bird.

Neo scratches after I scratch his head. I first thought I must not have scratched him good enough but now I know it's just what he does.
