Its been a while, I got a cockatiel

Just wanted to check in with everyone. I haven't been on here in a while. I have been busy with work, rescue and paramedic school. I got a cockatiel. I call him Bibbls.

Hey sxedanimalsxe! We have had our cockatiel Sunshine for 7 years! She was still being hand-fed when we got her. She is such a good bird!

My husband Butch is a retired paramedic. He still does some teaching at the local fire department, but has retired from the truck due to a back injury since 2001. Hope things go well for you with your school and with the new bird.

Its great to hear from you again and I certainly understand how life can get so busy you don't have time for everything but congrats on getting you a cockatiel, I am sure you are going to be very happy with him. I have never had one but they are very pretty, would love to see a picture when you get the chance.

Hi and welcome back! I remember you had many decisions to make about what would suit you bird wise. A cockatiel is a great choice (although noisy!!). I had my cockatiel Spiky for 17 years up until last year. They are great little characters and I'm sure you will enjoy Bibbls. Look forward to the photos.
