Tigerlily Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 i was scanning the web for some swings and the like seeing as i can now hang stuff from the ceiling and came across a sizzle ball/swing. i almost brought it when i remembered i had some sizzle rope from when i was gonna make some toys some months back but realised i had no idea what i was doing. so i made another attempt and.......

But from what you have posted your grey is shy and slow to accept knew things and thats ok. You are a GreYt mama and I think all your birdie needs is time. My cockatiel named Timid Timmy takes FOREVER to like anything. Make sure you post pics of her playing with it when she finally does!

birdman Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 How doe s your bird like the rope ball swing you made. I actually have one like the one you almost bought- my grey hates it but my Eclectus swings on it for hours at a time.
Tigerlily Posted August 21, 2009 Author Posted August 21, 2009 she LOVES it. i think because she has room around it to give her wings a real good flap. but she also loves to hang from things (even upside down!) she also likes climbing right to the top.
