udannefitz Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 My 11 wk Grey congo can stick his entire head out between the bars of his cage. He usually tries to squeeze a wing thru the bar space next to it thinking he can get out... He wants out... he also gets 'stuck' high up and cries until someone rescues him. Will this continue? Should I add some metal grating over the existing bars to make them smaller and easier to climb down? Diane
judygram Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Diane you need to get another cage ASAP, your grey will end up hurting himself if you don't, you need one where the spacing is no more than 1 inch.
chimaysmommy Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 I absolutely agree...If he is ever home alone long enough to where he decides to attempt an escape and there is no one there to rescue him when he's stuck you could have quite a disaster on your hands when you get home. I believe Chimay's bar spacing is about 3/4"
