This is the babies now. They are starting to feather out.
I named the older one Azure and the little one is Sweetpea.
Ill try and get one of Turtle later today.
She said "Hello" clear and loud yesterday. She was talking to my husband.
I am sure she is working on "I love you" and "Pretty Bird".
Hope to get a vidio of this soon with sound but not untill she starts talking when she is out of the cage. Right now she is much to interested in what is going out to talk when out. lol
But it well be soon I am sure.
You know this gets asked a lot maybe it should be sticked?
Que still is on mixed viggies, some fruit, some seed with a dab of zupreem for between meals.
Once a day.
Save? No I just click it. It tries to start but all I get is black and no sound. Ill see if I can save it to my computer dont have any blank disk right now.
NM wont give my the option to save. Wait sounds like it has started. Got sound but no pictures.

Post edited by: Tari, at: 2007/08/07 13:41

Never talks and hates getting wet. lol

Im married to the best man in the world.
I can crochet sell taught.
Thats about it.
lol Thats funny. So far my grey has not done that. But she is not much in the noise department to begin with.
She rarely talks and barely screams unless she is attacking a bad toy. lol
I think a quaker is a great parrot. If that is what you want you wont be disappointed. Be sure you do your reasearch as with any parrot quakers have their own problems and rewards. You need to be armed with the info as to how to handle them.
I do not have one. But my breeder friend use to have two pair three of which were given to here cause they were "screamers".
It is my believe they were turned into screamer by incorrect handling.
And that they may of been no noisier then any bird but that the shrill calls were just to much for them. They never really seem that loud to me when I go out to the farm.
Great post thank you.
I planning to buy some baby food tomorrow. Topaz is being a pain about weaning and this might help. She still wants 4 feedings a day and she is now 10 weeks old.
Guess her being sick slowed down the weaning precess.
Had no clue where to put this but since this forum gets the most trafic though it should go here.
Anyway I plan to make one of these soonish. If any of you do please post a picture. I am sure it can be modified for whatever bird you care to make it for.
