Best UV light for parrots? I have used Featherbrite for 13 years, in that time I have had to replace them about 5 times due to a burning of the wires that attach to the bulb socket burning So glad I noticed the smell when I was home and not at work....Suggestions please? I used a in light 1 time and Talon got her right eye sunburned because of it..1 point

So sorry for your loss I use a Eden Pure infrared heater. No Teflon just heat bulbs in copper tubs. Very safe. Check picture to left. My bird on their t stand on heater1 point

I use a U V light for Corky, but its only lit for about 3 to 4 hours a day because her cage is in front of a large picture window. It is not recommended to keep it lit all day. Just a few hours a day.1 point
