I wish the "reason for edit" could wait 5 minutes before kicking in.  Sometimes I am actually adding additional info to earlier post, and then it makes sense to give the reason for the edit. 

But sometimes I have just hit "submit/post/send" and see I made a silly simple error within seconds of posting -- and I just hate not to correct it.  Like writing "my my parrot", or "I'll look in into it" or even something silly misspelling I missed.

Why are mistakes so much clearer after you post them than when you're writing them?  I swear I try to proofread my stuff before hitting send/post/submit (whatever it is)....  lol

I think this would add to everyone’s experience and give us an up with Facebook.

I think it would gin up some interest, and maybe more participation.

Ah, to teach, to pass on knowledge and things we learned, to comfort our member friends and share photos and life..

Every member has knowledge to pass on and experiences to share.. There are some members who have so much to offer, yet we never hear from them, it's sad, they have so much to offer. I see hours, sometimes days go by before a question might be answered..I don't want to be a "lookie-loo" or the few "contributors". Take a minute to say "Hi" even if you don't have a answer..Your combined knowledge could power the world..All you older members, I could post wonderful and helpful posts you've made, why not instead give a couple minutes of your time to pass on your help to others?

Remember when you first joined the Forum? and some one reached out to help you....you're ALL needed. Okay, my soapbox just broke...Rev. Jayd

Is there a way to stop the email notifications when someone posts to a thread I have posted in? It's not that I'm not interested in the responses, just that I'll check in as a matter of course and the emails could bulk up my webmail account.

 

I tried to attach a JPEG photo to one of my posts, and even though I reduced it in size to about 10kb, it wouldn't upload. What am I doing wrong?

 

Again, if this is in the wrong place, sorry.
